I am young and I do want to splurge a little from time to time. What can I do to make sure I can do that without having to spend my rent money on Champagne bottles and cheese boards?
So you’re about to graduate (or you just have) and that means in the not so distant future, you will be attending a lot of celebrations and soirees. This means lots of photos, say cheese! speaking of cheese, please don’t be a Popayi - know the difference between camembert and gruyere. Or at the very least, even if you don’t, that’s fine but be all about the cheese. These things are all about showing that you got a bit of cheddar in your pocket - so make sure you are the guy saying “drinks on me” or “I got this” even if in reality it looks like you can’t quite afford it. Do you REALLY need to save? Or??? Should you just spend spend spend??? Think about it, you need to be a cheese boy to play with the big boys. Move from cheeseboards to boardrooms. Live in the moment kid. Rent and all those things will sort themselves out.
