Let's say I have one or two hazardous pursuits like maybe I am a sky diving enthusiast, will PPS cover me?
Lesson number 8: To Dare is to do
The other day I decided to be a bit adventurous - I ventured down the youtube rabbit hole. Risky business but someone has to do it! And boy did I do it. Jiki Jiki I am now watching old school daredevil films and I can’t help thinking if these guys would be able to do these death-defying stunts if they were worried about dying? I haven’t done my research but I assume to thrive in this profession one would need to live light. Not just physically - because it helps with being shot further and faster out of a cannon - but mentally and emotionally too. No wives and children and friends and family. Those things only weigh you down. There’s no burden of monthly life cover premiums because there’s no burden of people to look after if a death-defying stunt is not quite “defiable”. Their singular focus in life is to achieve the impossible. Which really should be your focus as a young professional, wouldn’t you agree? Please learn from the Dare Devils of old. To achieve anything amazing in this life or the next, one needs to be light.
